2008 Can-Am Spyder “Motorcycle” Review Test Read the full motorcycle review at Motorcycle.com. www.motorcycle.com We are aware that the Can-Am Spyder isn’t a motorcycle. But regardless of its non-single-track layout, it does have plenty of motorcycle guts and the thrill of the wind in your face, so we had to give it a ride. Or, instead, does one give the three-wheeled Spyder a drive?

Given the right (or wrong, however you may look at it) circumstances, anything that goes fast, regardless of number of wheels, can kill or seriously injure? anyone. It has to do with appeal and looking outside the box for new designs. Everyone has opinions, some people like it and some people don’t. I for one like it, not because I think it’s safer or easier to ride, but because it looks sweet.

Look, this isn’t a 3-wheel ATV from 1983. The lead wheels are doubled, not the rear wheels. You’ll only encounter significant handling issues if you decide to drive the thing around the roads in reverse. You? shouldn’t make broad, sweeping comments about something you’re ignorant about. I don’t even like these silly things, but the BS surrounding them has gotten ridiculous.

@1brentwood These trikes are awesome – they get envious stares from everyone within a quarter mile radius, there are only 20+ of these in Singapore. For a safety-conscious country concerned about motorcycle accident rates the Spyder is pretty much perfect as a recreational vehicle and makes riding a lot more accessible? to a wider audience.

Riding shotgun behind one of these on a ‘normal’ motorcycle is like cruising with a battleship. Who cares about the naysayers
